As a man with a beard, I find that my beard seems to want to catch food bits on a near daily basis. Whether it be bread crumbs, sauces, condiments, soup, cheese, meat, pizza or perhaps a whole turkey if the beard is big enough.
In any case, a man’s beard is a glorious endeavor to grow it, groom it and cater it’s every need. Some men like to have their beard full, vibrant and growing like kudzu in a lush garden. While others prefer to have it trimmed, designed and as clean cut as can be. No matter the style of beard, I would dare to say that almost every beard has inadvertently captured a particle of food that may or may not have been noticed prior to the next interaction with someone else.
A fun bearded food blog I found is http://thefoodinmybeard.com/ where Dan creates, cooks and carefully documents all of the meals he loves and enjoys.
All in all, I’m curious to hear some stories about what food has landed in your beard and whether or not it perhaps led to a potentially embarrassing encounter.
